What is Multiview?
Multiview is a player that combines up to four compatible streams in one customizable view. You provide the devices, services, servers, playlists, and content that you are authorized to access.
What sources does Multiview support?
Multiview supports compatible HDHomeRun and Tablo live TV, M3U playlists, Xtream Codes services, RTSP streams, recordings, and Plex and Jellyfin live TV and video-library content. Jellyfin is supported across all released Multiview apps.
Does Multiview provide channels or an IPTV subscription?
No. Multiview is a player for sources and content you already have access to. It does not sell channels, playlists, media, or IPTV subscriptions.
Can I combine different source types?
Yes. Multiview is designed to place compatible streams from different connected sources in the same layout.
What happens when the same channel appears on multiple sources?
Multiview groups overlapping versions into one channel entry. Your source-priority order determines the preferred source and available guide data. Automatic playback can fall back between matching HDHomeRun sources when a device cannot serve the stream; you can also select a specific source. Listings come from your connected sources and providers, so availability and details may vary.
Can I watch recordings and media-server library content?
Yes. The Library includes compatible DVR content from HDHomeRun, Tablo, Plex, and Jellyfin, plus compatible Plex and Jellyfin video libraries.
Can Multiview automatically play the next episode?
Yes. Autoplay Next Episode is on by default and can be changed in Playback settings. Compatible series from Plex, Jellyfin, and DVR libraries continue in the same pane when the source provides reliable episode order. A countdown appears during explicit provider-marked credits, or during the final ten seconds when the duration is known. Completed episodes queue the next episode for your next visit. You can play now or cancel; missing episodes require a manual choice, and finished videos do not loop.
Does Multiview record content?
No. Multiview browses and plays compatible recordings supplied by your connected HDHomeRun, Tablo, or Plex source; recording availability and management depend on that source.
How many streams can I watch at once?
Multiview supports single, split, triple, and quad layouts, with up to four compatible streams visible at once.
Do I need a Multiview subscription?
No. You can try Multiview free and unlock Pro for a one-time $9.99 purchase. Separate content or provider subscriptions may still be required.
Which devices can run Multiview?
Multiview is available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, and Google TV devices.
