Add an IPTV source

Choose the format

1. 1Open Settings, Manage Sources, then Add IPTV Source.
2. 2Choose M3U Playlist or Xtream Codes.
3. 3Give the source a recognizable name and enter the details supplied by your provider.

Add optional guide and provider settings

1. 1For M3U, add an XMLTV guide URL when your provider supplies one.
2. 2Use HTTP Basic Authentication only for a protected playlist; it is separate from Xtream Codes credentials.
3. 3Change the user agent or advanced provider options only when your provider requires it.
4. 4Save the source and let Multiview check its channel catalog. Guide data loads for the channels you select.

Build your channel lineup

Open Manage Channels, then Available channels, to add the channels you watch. Hide new channels is on by default, so provider additions stay out of your lineup. Search by name, number, or group, preview a channel before adding it, and edit a channel to give it your own display name and number. Provider playback and guide matching stay intact.

1. 1New sources start with an empty lineup. Existing sources keep their visible channels.
2. 2Choose Select to check several channels, then add them to My channels or remove them from your lineup. Use Undo to restore the memberships that changed.
3. 3Select all results includes every channel matching your search and filters, across pages. Selection survives paging and filtering; switching between My channels and Available channels clears it. On TV, Back returns focus to the My channels / Available channels picker without clearing your selection. Choose Cancel to exit selection without applying it.
4. 4Remove a channel from My channels to stop showing it in the guide and channel pickers. It remains in the provider catalog.
5. 5Open the IPTV source settings and choose Manage Library Groups to include movies and series. Enabling a group includes all its current and future titles; newly discovered groups stay off. Xtream catalogs and M3U entries identified by on-demand metadata, duration, or video-file URLs stay separate from your live lineup. Unmarked streams remain in the channel catalog.
6. 6Use Unavailable to review selected channels that disappeared from a successful provider refresh. Your selections and customizations are retained.
