Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

Overview

Multiview ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Multiview application (the "App") on iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and Android devices.

Information We Collect

Information Processed by Our Service Providers

Multiview is designed with privacy in mind. We do not operate servers that receive your source configuration or viewing activity. The following limited information is processed by service providers:

  • Website Analytics: We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Depending on your browser and privacy settings, these services may process page views, interactions, session information, browser and device details, IP-derived approximate location, and similar usage data.
  • Crash Diagnostics: The App uses Firebase Crashlytics. When the App crashes or reports a diagnostic event, Google may process stack traces, relevant application state, device and operating-system information, a Firebase installation identifier, and diagnostic logs needed to identify and fix stability problems.

Information We DO NOT Collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
  • Credentials or tokens for your Tablo, Plex, IPTV, or other content sources
  • M3U playlist URLs, Xtream Codes details, or RTSP stream URLs
  • HDHomeRun, Tablo, Plex, or camera device information and local network details
  • Library metadata, viewing history, presets, layouts, or app preferences
  • Precise location data
  • Payment information (handled securely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

These source details and preferences remain on your device and are not sent to Henzelmann Labs. When you connect a third-party source, the App may communicate directly with that device, server, or provider as needed to authenticate, browse, and play the content you request.

How We Use Information

The limited website analytics and app diagnostic information described above is used to:

  • Improve the App's functionality and user experience
  • Identify and fix technical issues
  • Understand general website usage patterns

Local Data Storage

Source connection details, library metadata, viewing history, presets, layout configurations, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Henzelmann Labs does not operate servers that receive or store this information. Your device sends requests directly to the local devices, servers, and third-party providers you choose to connect. Limited crash diagnostics are transmitted to Firebase Crashlytics as described above.

Third-Party Services

The App and website interact with the following categories of third-party services:

  • Connected Sources: The App connects directly to the compatible HDHomeRun, Tablo, Plex, IPTV, and RTSP sources you configure. Those sources may process requests, credentials, identifiers, and content under their own terms and privacy policies. Henzelmann Labs does not receive your source credentials or streaming content.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: App stability and crash diagnostics provided by Google. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
  • Microsoft Clarity: Website analytics. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
  • Google Analytics: Website analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • App Store / Play Store: Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment information.

Data Security

Henzelmann Labs does not operate servers that store your source configuration, library metadata, viewing history, or app preferences. Local app data is protected by your device's built-in security features. Information processed by Firebase, Microsoft, Google Analytics, app stores, and connected content providers is protected according to those providers' security practices.

Children's Privacy

Multiview does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is not directed at children, and we do not target children as an audience.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete locally stored App data by uninstalling the App, subject to your device's backup and restore settings
  • Opt out of analytics by using browser privacy settings or ad blockers on our website
  • Contact us with privacy-related questions or concerns

International Users

Multiview is available globally. If you are located outside the United States, please note that website analytics and app diagnostic data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
