Before you begin

  • The same Apple Account signed in to iCloud on each device
  • iCloud available for Multiview

Platform notes

Apple only
iCloud sync requires Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud available for Multiview.
1

Enable iCloud Sync

  1. 1Open Settings and find Data and Privacy.
  2. 2Turn on iCloud Sync.
  3. 3If Multiview finds both local and cloud configurations, review the conflict prompt and choose the version you want to keep.
  4. 4Check the Last synced value to confirm that synchronization completed.
2

Understand what syncs

Multiview syncs source configuration, favorites, and saved layouts. A new Apple device can use that configuration after iCloud data becomes available.

3

Reenter protected credentials

Passwords and account tokens may need to be entered again on another device. Sign in again to Plex or Tablo, and reenter protected IPTV or camera credentials when prompted.

Good to know: iCloud Sync is an Apple-only feature. It does not sync configuration to Android or Google TV.
4

Fix a sync problem

  1. 1Confirm that each Apple device uses the same Apple Account and has iCloud enabled.
  2. 2Leave Multiview open briefly so the latest configuration can upload or download.
  3. 3Review any warning or error shown below iCloud Sync in Settings.
  4. 4Avoid clearing all app data until you know which configuration is safely stored in iCloud.
