Connect a Tablo Legacy

Discover a compatible Tablo Legacy device on your local network or add its address manually.

  • A compatible Tablo Legacy device
  • The Tablo and Multiview device connected to the same local network

Platform notes

Apple
Follow these steps with touch controls on iPhone or iPad, or use focus and select controls with the Apple TV remote.
Android
Follow these steps with touch controls on a phone or tablet, or use the directional pad and select button on Google TV.

Discover the device

  1. 1Open Settings, then Manage Sources.
  2. 2Choose Add Tablo Legacy and start automatic discovery.
  3. 3Select the detected device and wait for Multiview to load its channel lineup.

Add it manually

  1. 1If discovery does not find the Tablo, choose the manual-address option.
  2. 2Enter the device IP address or hostname, then connect.
  3. 3Open the source details to confirm its channel count and connection information.

Refresh the lineup

After changing channels on the Tablo itself, refresh the source in Multiview so Guide and Channel Lineup use the latest information.

Good to know: Tablo Legacy uses a local-network connection. It does not use the Tablo Gen 4 account sign-in flow.
