Check the network

  1. 1Confirm the Multiview device and source are connected to the same local network.
  2. 2Allow local-network access for Multiview in your device settings.
  3. 3Avoid guest Wi-Fi or network isolation that prevents devices from communicating.
  4. 4Confirm the source works in its own app or web interface.
2

Try discovery again

  1. 1Open Settings, Manage Sources, and rescan or rediscover the affected source.
  2. 2If an existing source has moved to a new address, use Auto-Discover or update its address.
  3. 3For HDHomeRun or Tablo Legacy, try the manual IP address or hostname option.
  4. 4For Plex or Tablo Gen 4, sign in again if Multiview requests authentication.

Still not connecting?

Restart the source and Multiview device, then check firewall, VPN, VLAN, and router settings that may block local discovery or direct streams.

Good to know: When contacting support, include the source type, Multiview device, the exact message shown, and debug logs from Settings when available.
