Connect an HDHomeRun

Discover an HDHomeRun on your network or add its address manually.

  • A compatible HDHomeRun connected to your network
  • A completed channel scan on the HDHomeRun

Apple
Follow these steps with touch controls on iPhone or iPad, or use focus and select controls with the Apple TV remote.
Android
Follow these steps with touch controls on a phone or tablet, or use the directional pad and select button on Google TV.

Add the device automatically

  1. 1Open Settings, then Manage Sources.
  2. 2Choose Add HDHomeRun and start discovery.
  3. 3Select the detected device and allow Multiview to load its lineup.

Add the device manually

  1. 1If discovery does not find the tuner, choose the manual-address option.
  2. 2Enter the HDHomeRun IP address or hostname, then connect.
  3. 3Open the source details to confirm its channel count and tuner information.

Keep the lineup current

After rescanning channels on the HDHomeRun itself, refresh the source or channel lineup in Multiview.

Good to know: The number of channels Multiview can play simultaneously may be limited by the tuners available on your HDHomeRun.
